Family Picnic (30.09.2011 r.)
On September 30th, our Second Annual Family Picnic was held at the preschool! As with last year, many activities were ready for us. By the sweat of their brows, the aunties prepared fun competitions and beautified the playground for the arrival of our families.
The picnic fun began with a silly game in which everyone stood in a circle and passed around a mouse. It was really funny when my dad sang with his nose tucked like a duck. Later, the aunties conducted a contest of knowledge about children, during which we learned some interesting things about each other.
There was also a karaoke contest. The aunties tried to sing something with encouragement from the crowd, and it turned out pretty well for them. However, Auntie Stacy put on all the ritz, singing like an opera singer. While few people dared to sing, some did not ever want to leave the stage. As a reward, the bravest and the most beautiful singers received beautiful, golden statuettes in the shape of a heart. Each family also had the opportunity to demonstrate their artistic talent, as we painted our family portraits together on the fence.
In the meantime, we had a chance to try the delicious cakes and salads, which were prepared by our parents and grandparents for the culinary competition, and also the sweet and grilled sausages.
This year's family picnic at KOALA kindergarten was a great success, and I cannot wait for the next one. Luckily I have good memories!
