On November 10th, 2011, all of the preschoolers from our school took a field trip to the Copernicus Science Center, to experience the „Bzzzz!” exhibit. Insects and fish awaited us at the entrance to the exhibit, where we could catch them in an unusual grid created by our shadows. We were also able to follow the footsteps of different animals to their hiding places, where we could see how they lived in the grasslands.
Each part of the exhibit was so much fun, inspiring imagination and curiosity. Never before in my life have I seen so many cool things at once!
In the world of shapes, we could put different things into the kaleidoscope and see how the reflections created a honeycomb. We could feel like birds moving our arms over the stair rail, and found the perspective of birds by looking through a periscope at the top of the stairs.
The biggest surprise for me was the water exhibit. Who knew playing with water could be so fun and interesting? Luckily, our Aunties brought us a change of clothes :)
