The main inspiration for the creation of this unique institution was the lack of suitable schools for the daughter of the owners, Alicja Węgorzewska-Whiskerd and Peter Whiskerd-Węgorzewski.  Their vision of the school, which serves the educational needs of the market while maintaining international standards, has resulted in the Private British Elementary School and the non-public, first level music school in Wilanow City. Why is it unique? Simply put, it is because before it was even a project, the owners asked students, teachers, directors and parents questions about their ideal school.

The combination of the individual visions of the students, staff and parents had a huge impact on the idea of creating a safe space with which everyone could identify, and in which the educational process has the potential to shape the pupils' attitudes and contribute to the development of essential individual and social skills, such as honesty, reliability, responsibility, respect for others, curiosity, creativity, entrepreneurship, personal culture, a willingness to participate in their culture, respect for the culture and traditions of their own nation, as well as an attitude of respect for other cultures and traditions.

We also offer "pre-primary school" preparatory lessons at our bilingual preschool, which has lessons in English led by native speakers for half of the day.

In this way, students will have the opportunity to master the language at the advanced level, ensuring the ability to communicate and prepare for a variety of language examinations. Classes will be conducted in conjunction with enhanced Polish language learning.

Regarding our educational programs: the curriculum will be selected from among the best in the market to accommodate and adapt to the individual needs and abilities of students.  In addition, relating to the goals of school, and wanting to provide our students with the most effective, the most interesting and the newest methods of learning, we plan on the implementation of a project promoting foreign study exchange with partner schools in a later stage of the school's development.

Realization of these objectives, supported by the school's facilities and equipment, will serve as the means to complete work activities, as well as to promote the development of individual interests, cultural and social activities, and attention to proper hygiene and health. The better equipped our school, the greater the guarantee for the proper development of students.

Our non-public, first level music school will implement the public music school curriculum. Its activities will be overseen by the Center for Arts Education, an organ of the Ministry of Culture, which exercises supervision over art instruction in the primary and secondary schools.  The scope of the training program will not cover general subjects, only those connected with music, such as  individual instrumental lessons and theoretical subjects thematically linked with music.

The school will also conduct workshops for children and adolescents.  The lessons for these workshops will be based on a program created under the guidance of the Ministry of Culture for primary music schools.

Our students will be placed in a two-story building which will be 2,723 m².  The building will contain 12 classrooms, each with an area exceeding 48 m²; a gymnastics room; an auditorium containing over 160 seats; a doctor's office; a psychologist's office; a number of specialist laboratories, including a music room, a computer room and a recording studio; a conference room and a fully equipped kitchen and dining area.

A great advantage of the building is found not only in its modern, attractive appearance, but also with the large glass windows, which provide light and comfort.  On the green area around the school there will be a large playing field, playground and a place to conduct workshops and outdoor activities.

The bond that will connect all these elements will be a highly qualified, informed staff, for whom the welfare of children lies not only in providing for their educational needs, but also their  emotional, cognitive, and social needs, their sense of belonging, and above all safety.
