She initially learned the piano, but subsequently began her vocal studies in Gdańsk, and completed them at the Academy of Music in Warsaw. She made her debut in the Wiener Kammeroper where she played the part of Dardane in Gluck's opera Die Pilger von Mekka, after which she appeared in Bernstein's Trouble in Tahiti with the Neue Oper Wien and was then invited by Koffi Annan to sing in a concert at the Theater an der Wien marking the birth of the world's 6-billionth citizen, where she performed alongside the world renowned mezzosopranos Fiorenza Cossotto and Grace Bumbry.
She won a contest in Rheinsberg (Germany) and was awarded the opportunity to perform the lead role in the world premiere of Siegfried Matthus Kronprinz Friedrich opera directed by Goetz Friedrich, which was broadcast live on German radio. She got excellent reviews for her role and went on tour in Germany performing among others in Bayreuth and in the German pavilion during the EXPO 2000 international trade show in Hannover. She has participated in many international festivals and opera galas i.e. during the prestigious Altmusik festival in Innsbruck, the Donaufestwochen in Vienna and the City of Breda's 75th anniversary gala. She performed with the Frankfurt Ensemble Modern and the Staatskapelle Berlin and cooperated with theatres in Vienna, Berlin, Bayreuth and Monte Carlo, performing in such prestigious concert halls as the Amsterdam's Concertgebouw or Konzerthaus in Berlin.
She is a winner of the Polish stage award - the Prometheus. She also sung the soundtrack recording to the Polish film production Wiedźmin, which won a Gold Disc. She was a guest at the Hoffman Festival in Poznań and the Opera Festival in Bydgoszcz. In Poland, she appeared in the Grand Theatre in Łódź performing the title role in Bizet's Carmen. She went on tour with Carmen in Holland with stagings in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and the famous Lucent Dance Theater in the Hague. In the Kraków Opera she performed the title role in Benjamin Britten's The Rape of Lucretia as well as the role of Orpheus in Ch.W. Gluck's Orpheus and Eurydice. During the Gala Final Concert of the "Lutosławski Awards" in the National Philharmonic, she performed the world premiere of the winning songs. In the National Opera, she played the title role in Tchaikovsky's The Queen of Spades directed by Mariusz Treliński and conducted by Kazimierz Kord. In Szczecin's Opera Zamkowa she performed as Santuzza in Cavaleria Rusticana and as Carmen in Bizet's Carmen. She appeared in the Opera Bałtycka performing Octavian in R. Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier. The famous Polish tenor, Wiesław Ochman, invited her to perform the part of Carmen in his production in the Opera Śląska in Bytom.
Lately, she has appeared in the National Opera in Hoffman's Tales (role of the mother) and Krakowiacy i Górale (Dorota). She has also performed in the premiere of Britten's The Rape on Lucretia conducted by Jose Maria Florencia Junior in the Opera Bałtycka and in Faust directed by R. Wilson and conducted by Gabriel Chmura at the National Opera. She has also given concert performance in Kuwait and Bahrain.
